The fleet

Verification
Every relay we run is published for independent verification. Our full RSA identity fingerprint list is served from this domain at /.well-known/tor-relay/rsa-fingerprint.txt, matching each relay's ContactInfo.
Responsible operation
Exit traffic generates questions, and we answer them. A staffed abuse desk, published exit policies, and prompt, documented responses to legitimate reports. Every day, for years.

Those three words have anchored this site for years. They are the whole reason. We run exit relays because privacy is not a suspicious activity; it is the precondition for free thought, free speech, and a free press. Journalists protecting sources, people leaving abusive situations, citizens reading under governments that punish reading, and ordinary people who simply believe their business is their own: all of them exit the Tor network through infrastructure that somebody chose to build and stand behind. We chose to build it.
Our founder spent the start of his career as a military intelligence officer. He understands exactly what surveillance is, what it can do, and what it costs the people who live under it. That understanding is not an argument against this work. It is the argument for it.
So we put our own name on it: exit relays running on address space we have held since 1994, registered to us in the public record, powered, patched, and paid for by us, with a staffed abuse desk and a decade of answering for what exits our network. Not because it is easy, and not because it is profitable. Because it matters.
